Dear Kangana, don’t worry, we will make Tejas a Hit when it will be launched in OTT

Hello

I am Gijo Vijayan, blogger, author and entrepreneur from India. I write blogs about various digital marketing products that can make your life easier.

Today I want to tell you about — Tejas, India`s first air action film that highlights the landmark event in 2016, where the Indian Air Force inducted women in combat roles, and celebrates the spirit of the Indian Air Force.

Through this blog I want to urge youths of “Bharat” to Join Indian Airforce and make our nation strong. You also have a great lifestyle and career at IAF.

Film ‘Tejas’ aims to inspire and instils a deep sense of pride in every Indian. Some have praised Kangana for her brilliant performance in ‘Tejas’, calling it a film of Emotion and Action.

I request people to watch this film when it will be released in OTT once and make judgement honestly. You can show TEJAS as the marvel created by Engineers of India. As a former Engineer myself, I am proud of Indian airforce and our defence companies who made our country proud. Show this film to your kids and tell them the story of TEJAS once.

The film centers on the incredible journey of Air Force pilot Tejas Gill and seeks to uplift and instill a strong sense of national pride in every Indian by demonstrating how Indian Air Force pilots brave many obstacles in the course of their tireless work to defend our country.

Tejas highlights the valiant voyage of Tejas Gill, a female fighter pilot. She is prepared to do whatever it takes for her country, determined to protect it from terrorist threats.

It is the first air action film in India and celebrates the spirit of the Indian Air Force while highlighting the historic 2016 induction of women into combat roles.

Avani Chaturvedi is the first woman pilot in Indian Air Force. She was chosen to attend the Air Force Academy for training, which she finished at the age of 25. In June 2016, Chaturvedi attained the rank of fighter pilot after additional training.

Before going ahead I want to introduce myself. My name is Gijo Vijayan, I am an Ex-Student of Sainik School Kazhakootam, Trivandrum. I passed out in 1992. I wanted to become a fighter pilot, but could not as I failed in PABT (Pilot Aptitude Battery Test) test in Mysore in 1992 after clearing NDA exam written test.

Let me first congratulate HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd) and ADA (Aeronautical Development Agency) for creating a wonderful fighter aircraft such as Tejas that is pride of our Bharat. Tejas — as on today is a successful LCA (Light Combat Aircraft) that has been developed after lot of struggle. Thousands of engineers, technicians and defense staff behind this venture require special mention and appreciation.

With the integration of Kaveri engine, Tejas will be almost 95 % indigenously made fighter aircraft from India.

What is Tejas Fighter Plane?

The Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) and the Aircraft Research and Design Centre (ARDC) of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) collaborated to design the HAL Tejas (Radiance) a single-engine, light multirole fighter for the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. It originated from the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) program, which was started in the 1980s to replace India’s aging MiG-21 fighters. Later on, the program expanded to include the modernization of the entire fleet. In The LCA was formally dubbed “Tejas” in 2003. In It is the lightest and smallest modern supersonic combat aircraft in its class.

The Tejas currently comes in three production versions: the Mark 1, Mark 1A, and a trainer model. 32 Mark 1s, 73 Mark 1As, and 18 Mark 1 trainer aircraft have been ordered by the IAF. The Indian Air Force eventually intends to acquire 324 aircraft in all configurations, including the Tejas Mark 2, which is presently undergoing development. Sarvesh Mewara is the writer and director of the 2023 Indian Hindi-language action thriller Tejas, while Ronnie Screwvala is the producer.Anshul Chauhan and Varun Mitra play supporting roles to Kangana Ranaut’s lead in the movie.

On October 27, 2023, the movie was released to largely unfavorable reviews from critics.Within the first two days of its release, it became one of the biggest box office disasters in Hindi cinema history, with most of its shows being pulled from theaters on opening day.

Tejas Gill (Kangana Ranaut)

Is Tejas based on true story?
Kangana Ranaut’s Tejas is not based on a true story, in contrast to Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. It takes the film some time to pick up, but it does so gradually in the second half. Kangana gives a captivating performance and has perfected the demanding exercises required of an air force officer.

Synopsis

The heroic officer’s story is told in TEJAS. Tejas Gill (Kangana Ranaut) is an Indian Air Force wing commander. Following their rescue of an officer named Vivek (Kashyap Shangari) from a forbidden area in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, she and her coworker Arfa (Anshul Chauhan) are set to be suspended. Vivek extends his gratitude to Tejas by asking her to go on a date. Although Tejas accepts, she is still dealing with the pain of losing her parents and her boyfriend Ekveer (Varun Mitra) in the Mumbai terror attacks on November 26, 2011. One day, word spreads that terrorists in Pakistan have captured an engineer by the name of Shikhar Ali. In exchange for their release, they demand Kashmir. Videos of Shikhar being apprehended have gone viral online.

After watching his videos, Tejas discovers that he is none other than Prashant, a fellow student of hers (Vishak Nair). She also discovers that he sent his location — Mir Ali — using Morse code. Ashish Vidyarthi’s character Tejas tells IAF chief R K Panicker about it. She also asks if she can go to Pakistan and get Prashant back. Panicker concurs. The remainder of the movie is based on what occurs next.

With its grand canvas, suspenseful action scenes, and deeply thought-provoking tale of national pride, the “Tejas” trailer is undoubtedly a treat for viewers. Aside from all of these fascinating components, the intense conversations that deeply sparked a sense of patriotism were what people remembered most.

The dialogue ‘When in Doubt, Think About The Nation’ is associated with the Sarvesh story because producer Ronnie Screwvala’s work ‘Rang De Basanti’ served as its inspiration.

The director of “Tejas” has been profoundly impacted by the blockbuster “Rang De Basanti,” which was produced by Ronnie Screwvala. ‘Tejas’ has been greatly influenced by Ronnie.

Ronnie Screwvala — producer of Tejas

Rohinton Soli Screwvala, also known as “Ronnie Screwvala” was born on June 8, 1956. He was the founder and CEO of the renowned and highly regarded UTV Group, which included UTV Motion Pictures, Bloomberg UTV, UTV Software Communications, and many more!

In 1990, Ronnie, his best friend Deven Khote, and his wife Zarina Screwvala formed the UTV Group to supply broadcasters with television content. The company began by producing corporate films and commercials, and this was India’s first independent production.

There was an effort to make this film utter flop in theatre by vested interests. This was evident from many negative reviews about this film in social media.

Unfortunately this film did not perform well in Theatres. There are various reasons behind it. I have decided to watch this film when it comes in OTT.

I think you will also do the same. I like watching films based on Military and war. Kindly watch this film and evaluate.

All the best to TEJAS team.
